haahaahaa!
oh how i used to joke about modern abstract art and how paintings could be hung up whichever way and people wouldn't know the difference. and now...
personally i like the vertical orientation. i find the huge red canvases that dominate the walls of the smaller under-lit room rather oppressive (which i like) and i think having the bands upright adds to this. but i think i've just been reading too much lovecraft and talk of "monstrous monolithic structures from beyond time"

i'm about a third of the way through the wookie. what to do with the cross though! i can't remain as it is, it's too plain... but... i don't want to go too decorative. i need to get it out of the way really, it's clutter. and the ogres need doing. they'll make me and andy money they will!
